A New Look for the Home for Christmas Series, and The Skimmerdale Collection!

  • Post category:Latest News

Hello again. Here’s the second part of my updates, which concerns a new look for some of my books. It occurred to me recently that I haven’t shared anything with you for a while, because I’ve been putting my latest news in my newsletter and on my readers’ group, but I know some of you won’t have seen either of those so I thought I’d better tell you my news here.

Yesterday I shared the new cover and pre-order links for Winter Wishes at The White Hart Inn which is the first book in my new Tuppenny Bridge series. Today I thought I’d show you the new covers for both my Home for Christmas series, and The Skimmerdale Collection.

I think Baxter’s Christmas Wish must be getting quite dizzy, because it’s had a total of four covers so far! This is definitely my favourite though, and I hope you agree.

It’s so gorgeous and snowy and festive. I love the fireworks (and there are definitely fireworks between Ellie and Dylan!) and there’s Jake building a snowman, with handsome Baxter watching him.

I wanted the covers to have a unified look, so people would look at them and know immediately they were part of a series, and I think that’s been achieved. Here’s The Other Side of Christmas.

There’s Katy, wrapped up against the cold snow, having driven “home” to her unwelcoming caravan in Weltringham on Christmas Eve. And there’s Luke with his scruffy dog. But is Luke about to let her down like Simon did? Or will he make Katy’s Christmas perfect after all?

The third book in the series (and possibly my favourite story but don’t tell the others) is Christmas with Cary.

Another scruffy looking dog! And all that snow, and the sparkling skies, and the postbox, and that little cosy cottage… Could that possibly be Molly and Cary walking together?

Finally, here’s the collection cover. You’ll get all three books in this one at a slightly lower price than if you buy all three separately. Bargain!

For fans of Skimmerdale, there’s also a collection available to buy which contains both Summer Secrets at Wildflower Farm and Summer Wedding at Wildflower Farm. Again, you’ll get it at a slightly lower price than if you buy the books separately. It has a gorgeous new cover which matches the other two at last. Hope you love it as much as I do!

So there you are! I love them all and I’m really happy with them. I think they suit the stories much better than the old covers. You can click the images to buy the books, and don’t forget they’re also free to read if you have a Kindle Unlimited membership!

Have a lovely day.
