Hello, lovely people! It’s publication day for my new Christmas novel, Christmas with Cary.
It’s book three in the Home for Christmas series, following Baxter’s Christmas Wish and The Other Side of Christmas. All three books in this series are standalone reads, linked by the theme of finding a home for Christmas. Ellie, Katy and Molly (the heroine of Cary) have all suffered loss, and find themselves at a crossroads in their lives.
Christmas can be a difficult time, especially when you find yourself alone, or without a place to call home. All three of these women have had a change of circumstances in their lives, and are struggling to see where they go next. Can Christmas weave its magic and give our heroines the happy ending they crave?
Well, it’s Christmas, so what do you think?
One of the criticisms levelled at romantic novels is that they are predictable. Well, yes, in a way they are. You can usually guess who the heroine will end up with. That’s not really the point. The point is the journey our two protagonists go on to be together. Whatever the reasons for being kept apart, we have to resolve that. How will we do that? How are they going to reach that inevitable happy ever after?
For Molly, her own happy ever after has taken far longer than she expected. Many years ago, she did something that she has regretted ever since, and lost the love of her life. Now she’s looking for a final chance to put things right, but first she has to find him…
Christmas with Cary is out now and costs just 99p to buy. It’s also FREE to read on Kindle Unlimited, and will be available in paperback later this month. I really hope you enjoy it.
In my last post, I ran a giveaway. I’m delighted to reveal that the winner of the signed copy of Belle, Book and Christmas Candle is Katie Wells. Congratulations to Katie. I’ll be posting the book out to you as soon as possible.
That’s all for today! Wishing you a wonderful week. Please stay safe.
