  1. What a lovely post, Sharon! I loved your answers. I can so empathise with having to meet strangers. My first day at the RNA conference I was nerve-racked and half wished I’d never gone, but I met and made some great and lasting friends there. I know Alys and Jessica (a little) and both seem lovely people. And I’m there listening to Black Beauty now, too!
Thanks so much for the nomination. I really appreciate it!

    1. Thanks, Helena. Yep, Alys and Jessica are smashing, and they’ve really helped to bring me out of my shell. To this day I don’t know where I found the courage from to go, I really don’t. Aw, Black Beauty. Such a fantastic programme, and that music is just perfect. xx

  2. Thank you so much for my nomination. Loved reading all your answers and eternally grateful you took the plunge and met Alys and met that day. I think I’m going to struggle to repeat this on my blog because we know the same people and I don’t think I can think of anyone else who blogs who you haven’t mentioned! Will put my thinking hat on xx

    1. I don’t suppose the blog police will turn up if you can’t think of eleven bloggers, Jessica. Eleven is a lot! Especially when you think how many times this award has already been passed on. Think of one blogger and write their name eleven times haha. Go on, just do it – as you ALWAYS say to me! xx

  3. Aww nice one Sharon! You would totally smash it as The Doctor’s assistant – I can see it now; race to save the earth via the medium of uplifting romance novels 😀 and Im sure I spotted a kettle in the Tardis last week. Thanks for the mention, just let me answer a few more Thomas Hardy questions 🙄 (rolls eyes) xx

    1. Haha, I love that idea, Sam. The Doctor’s companion, saving the world by writing romance and making cups of tea. We do have a Yorkshire Doctor at the moment, but she already has three companions. But, ooh, I’d love to just be on that Tardis with all thirteen regenerations, bickering and arguing amongst themselves, insulting each other and showing off. I’d love that! Good luck with your questions. It will all be worth it in the end. xx

Would love to hear your thoughts!
